well it now seems, that listening to football games is now no longer possible for free online, its bad enough they put the games on digital TV here in the UK but now after god knows how many years they make the radio online a pay thing. it seems as though Real Player have gone and bought up every damn thing they can that can be made money off of. and i refuse to pay out money to listen to it, when it isnt even that damn good a coverage anyway.
Side note they even are charging to watch this david blaine crap online aswell,
those A**ho*es can all goto hell for all i care.
Please if anyone knows of a way to listen online which doesnt require payment, pleeeeaaasssse tell me.

yep, didn't take long for me to realize that Real Player is out for nothing but money, and that's all they care about.

 Just like so many other things that used to be free online, everyone is getting greedy, especially sucks when they don't forewarn you.

Are we talking about real football or soccer?  It it's real football, most cities have an AM station plays their team's games live.  It's simply a matter of finding that station's website and tuning in the live play.  Especially if you can find a sports station.

you know you could end up with a massive blow back for that real football comment, seeing as "soccer" has been around for many more years than football and has been called football and the main point of the game is using your foot ;D
anyway enough of being an unfunny ass:)
and i have tried the local websites thing, they have all been forced to stop the broadcast of football by Real.  it def seems to have been completely bought out the market.
well the only good news is my broncos completely destroyed the bengals.

Can you say "monopoly"? ::)

I can't believe RealPlayer is able to tell AM stations that have been broadcasting the games since god-knows-when that they can't put them online.

Wasn't the net invented for the purpose of SHARING information?

This might be a bit expensive and far fetched, but do they report on games on DAB stations?

What you're all failing to realize is that Yahoo! has gameday coverage on their sports page.  I've never listened to it, because I'd much rather watch it on television (unless I'm there in person) anyway.

Also, try sites like nfl.com  You never know what they'll have. ;)

nope. not anymore, i used to listen on yahoo. bought out by Real, the coverage on NFL.com is just a link to the real player coverage.

Well that sucks.  lol  (Shows how often I've checked it out at Yahoo though!)

YAHOO=Yet Another Highly Overrated Operation.
