CNN is reporting that the two pilots of the Colgan Air/US Air Express Beechcraft 1900D that was lost off the coast of Massachussetts on Tuesday have been recovered.

They've been brought to the medical examiner's office in Boston, and they were recovered at around 9PM last night.

Godspeed.

i believe they were dead. read the report on cnn for full story. but heres the bit that seems to confirm it

Earlier, Finnigan had said: "I can't really speculate on what caused the crash. We're cooperating fully. We're devastated by the loss of our friends and crew members."

The airline identified the pilots as Capt. Scott Knabe, 39, of Cincinnati, and First Officer Steven Dean, 38, of Euless, Texas

credit CNN

this is another sad loss in the aviation world, and like i said in the other post regarding this matter, the fleet of 1900's from all airlines needs to be immediatly grounded and full checks conducted, there have been already to many incidents with this aircraft in the last year and a half
