Avianca.

ALL THE WAY!!! (and we aint poopstains! :P)

Avianca is the second oldest airline in the world, it first pilots (and machines) were WWI German vets.... during WWII the US had an eye on Avianca (still under Geran-Colombian) ownership because the US was afraid we would help Jerry invde the Panama Canal :P at the end nothing happened ;)

I took an Aviation History class in College, and thought I remembered the Professor saying that AeroPostal was the oldest. As far as Latin American, it was run out of Brazil, but French owned, so even if this were correct, I don't know if it would count on your list. Maybe there's a stipulation I'm missing: Oldest Continuous(but I think that would be Chalk's) or Oldest European(I don't Know...........).  ??? :P
