Feelings while palying Flight Simulator

I have FS2004 and I like flying the simulator very much but one problem that makes me feel bad and that i think all the time about is that when I will becomeolder I wont be able to resist and become a pilot,but i dont want that, but still I like it very much!! Im only 14. Anyone wants to share your thoughts about it ?

trust me thats happend to all of us, and me personally i have looked into so many differant ways of geting to fly its unbelievable, but lets face it, flying is worth every second of hard work it takes to get there.

Want to become a real pilot for cheap. Get yourself a good R/C trainer and join a model aircraft club. That's what I did.  :)

By the grace of God I have the best Dad in the world!!
[Stepdad] I soloed at 14!! Do what ever it takes, It
will make life differant for you, if you never fly after
learning, it lets you know that all things are possible,
and no mountian is too tall!!
Fly the sim's, they are a great learning tool! Don't
play it as a game, Fly it as if it was real, Make each
landing count!
To look up at an airplane and know, I can do that, is
the greatest feeling there is!!!

It may not be what you chose to do in life, but it will
be a part of it forever!!!

PS I soloed 43 years ago and never could get
a PPL because of my eye sight!!!

Boris. You might not want to fly for a living but that doesn't stop you doing it for fun whenever you get the opportunity. This might not be for a few years yet. I know people who started taking flying lessons after they retired. Your interest in aircraft will last for ever as anyone here will tell you.

Boris, I think I was a lot like you.

Since I was 6 years old, my dream was to go to the Air Force Academy and fly F-16s.

Then in fifth grade, I got glasses, ruling that out.  I was devastated.

Graduated High School, joined the Marine Corps, and got out of the Marine Corps.

Became an aircraft cleaner, then an agent, then a Flight Attendant....

Then I got out of the airline industry entirely.  (Stupid.)

All this time I'd been telling myself that I wanted to be an airline pilot.  But I'd never taken a single lesson.

Finally decided to look into Embry Riddle Aeronautical Institute.  I was going to be a pilot.

September 11th scared the crap out of me, and I decided that I didn't want to be a pilot anymore.

Still no lessons.

Then, a little over a month ago, my girlfriend purchased a flight lesson for me, saying that she knows its what I've always wanted to do, so I needed to do it.

Unfortunately, weather hasn't been my friend, and I have rescheduled twice.

But at age 28, I'm going for it.  It's a long road, and I know that.  But I'm going to do whatever I have to do in order to at LEAST get my private.   Who knows what will happen after that?

GO FOR IT.  When you've got a dream, it's not impossible to make it a reality.

Ask for lessons for your birthday, for Christmas, for any occasion you can think of.  Maybe you'll get them, maybe you won't.  But eventually you'll be in a great situation, once you're old enough to work.  Use that money for lessons!  When you're in school and working, you're lucky because you don't have any "real" expenses.  CAPITALIZE on that.

If you want to fly, Boris, fly.  You CAN do it.

Don't look at 28 as too old to start something new and take it all the way to the top. Look at what life will be like at 35, then 45, then 55 if you don't pursue your dream. Since you are a jarhead, you will do fine flying and you should look at embry riddle again.

I don't know what you did in the crotch, but whatever it was, the rest of life is a lot easier because of it.

I just got my ppl and ifr i'm working on my twin. 9-11 did not discourage me at all but getting a license sure is expensive!

I think you didnt understand what I mean, mean that I like Flight Simulation. But dont want anuthing to do with my life. I dont want for it to be a part of my life. But all the time I keep thinking that I would not be able to resist flying even if I didnt want it. I know its confusing but that what I keep thinking about
