It doesn't surprise me. Wasn't she already is a lousy movie?

Hollywood seems to have run so short of original ideas that the best they can do is dredge up 30 year old TV series' and comic books to turn into full length movies. It won't be long before we see Gilligan's Island, Bewitched, Three's Company. Brittney could do any of those (except MaryAnn - MaryAnn is sacred).

In the 60's they said if the Beatles belched people would buy it. If Brittney stands in one place for 2 hours they'll call it a movie and teenieboppers will flock to it.

Good or bad that seems to be a growing trend, singers turning to acting. I suppose exopsure is the name of that game.
As for Hollywood not having any good ideas left I think that's true. How I long for the '80s when flicks like "Road Warrior", "The Terminator" and "Alien" were fresh and inventive. I believe Hollywood wants to stick with the tried and true in order to make a buck and is afraid to take a chance on something "different" (the gutless slime).

I tried to avoid replying to this thread for fear of the backlash I know I am going to get, but here it goes:

I agree that the idea of a Dukes of Hazzard movie has got to be the worst thing that they could possibly waste money on, especially with the lame teeny-bopper cast they are proposing.
However I also have to say that if you are male, you would either have to be blind or gay not to enjoy watching Britney Spears running/bouncing around in the Daisy Duke outfit.

I agree with Craig. I'm not gay or blind either and I just think she's ugly. For thoes who think she's hot, open up your computer and think about what the parts are made of. Brittney is made out of the exact same stuff. ;D
