Tony Blairs trip to DC LOL LOL LOL

Postby Blade » Fri Jul 18, 2003 10:16 pm

Ok this is so good I had to tell. My Mom's business partners husband is a crew chief of C-5B Galaxy's. Well he landed because he is working on the presidential detail and decided to have lunch on a picnic table next to the flightline. Well he was sitting there eating his sandwich, when ALOT of security forces showed up. He asked them is he should move and the head guy said no no eat you lunch. So he went back down to eat. Five minutes later a BA 777 lands at Andrews and taxis up to within 50 FEET from him. He's still there eating when Tony Blair and his wife walk down the air stairs. He waves at TB and Tony waved back!  :o

Weird, if it had been me I'd have used somewhat different sign-language. I wonder if Tony would have returned the gesture? ;D ;D ;D

Good to know you guys are on the ball. I promise to make no further comment. Probably would have kept my big trap firmly shut if I hadn't seen Ozzy's hilarious remark.  ::)

The first Congressional Gold medal was awarded to George Washington for his Generaling against the Brits.

When awarded that medal on his trip, Blair's comment was pure class and style.
