Whitey - you have earned my eternal (for at least the next five minutes or so) - contempt.  You were in my neighborhood and did not see fit to let me know.

FOF is an excellent place for the flight enthusiast.  That simulator is a blast.  I went there with three other squadmates from the Damned, and we obliterated everyone else (and each other)  You can request several "planes" .. P38, F6F, Zero, Oscar ...

Another interesting place in the area - Kissimmee, is Tom Reilly's Warbird Restoration Museum .. this is a working museum - what you see today, may not be there next time you come around....  Currently they're restoring a B-17G that had been used as a turboprop test bed ...

Didn't know that was your hideout Felix. ;)

I got a choice between FoF and the Warnird Restoration, but I chose FoF because I'd saw it on TV and it had flying displays every day...LOL. ;)  If I'd waited a couple of more days and went on fathers day the flying diplay would've been the Mustang and the B-25. ::)

PS:  Think I'm coming back to Florida in April...

Last week I took a friend to Spokane to see a fully restored B-24 & B-17. They even let us walk through them 8) ;D

I took about 60 photos on my digital camera, but i've just been to lazy to post them ;D

I had a look inside Sally B when she was a RAF St Mawgan a few years back. And apart from between the bomb racks it wasn't too cramped. Plus there were nice big windows too. And all of them had a nice .50 cal sticking out of it! ;D
