The Air Force commandant inform to the citizens that today at 10:05 hours the KFIR combat aircraft, register Number FAC-3046, pilot by Captain Juan Manuel Grisales Palacio, suffer an accident at 16 nautical miles at the north of the Air Base “Captain German Olano”, Puerto Salgar. The aircraft that belong to the Combat Air Commander No. 1, was executing a mission of navigation at 5000 feet when suffer the ingestion on a turbine of a bird that cause its deaden. The pilot tries to turn on the turbine and when he could not do it and due the proximity to the terrain, he eject from the aircraft being rescued unhurt.
Specialist of the Combat Air Commander No. 1, are executing the rescue of the aircraft that falls on the Magdalena River.

Yeah, it's sad... this airplane was probably in the IDF/AF too.
But the A/C's name is Kfir-not K-Fir... Kfir is a word from the bible that means Lion Cub.
What model was that Kfir? C-7?
