I hate laser pointers!!!!!!! (ranger vents stress)

I was eating lunch in the cafeteria today and one of the laser pointers hit me in the eye.

My parents pay $13 500 for tuition, as a result much of the kids are spoiled brats. Sometimes the young kids in the school become too much. When you listen the some of them, they claim that they are superior just because they are born in a rich family. They think that they will inherit all their parents money and won

Ranger, speaking as a teacher I have to say you are bang to rights. Be your own man, and don't follow the herd. Who wants to be mediocre?
On Sunday I met an old student of mine, who was a grade A workaholic, and her classmates used to laugh at her and give her a hard time. She is about to graduate with a 1st class honours degree in law and has had about 20 different offers from companies and law firms.
I've also seen one of her classmates working as a postman.
I think you have the right attitude.
Guess who's having the last laugh?

That reminds me of a somethin, when I was in high school, there was this one (I don't want to say midget, although, she borderlined it. . .) girl that I always made fun of. She was really short all 4 years. Recently, I ran into her the other day. She is about 9 inches taller than me now, and I was really tall for my age.

I can relate to what your saying... but there are one or two instances where it just gets wierd for me.
I'll admit i underacheved in school (passed everything exept English, RE and Science where i passed with flying colours, and French... which i didnt pass ::) (I had only done if for a year before taking the final exam! :o)) and when i drive by town and see old faces from school, or open to door to a salesman, who was one of the guys that smoked weed in the alley, i think 'Sucks to be you'.
It gets worse when a girl i used to be friends with (till she turned into a bitch for an unkown reason) did well in school, is now signing on at the job centre and looks like shes just had 1000 hits of coke. :-/
And heres me... underachever of school, is finnishing college with distinction and accepted for Univerity. :)
(BTW i also get shon at by lasers at work... damn scanners! :))

I've had a few laser pointers when I was younger. It's quite amusing to see people literally jump when they see a red dot chasing them! ;D ;D

One of the valuable things I have learned throughout the years is that a person is not a true friend unless he accepts you as you and doesn't shun you when life gets rough for you. I've had many people call me their 'friend' but they really weren't

I know what you mean mate.

My parents pay a hell of alot of money for my tuition that we don't really have. I have dyspraxia a curious brain defect that effects how I write and enterperate peoples emotions (as in terrible trouble telling someones mood by facial expressions, strange I know but I have to live with it.) I am 15 but I have matured much past my year group and try to be my own person. I get alot of stick for it and my left wing political beliefs. I am lucky enough to have a very loyal circle of friends and an extremely patient and understanding girlfriend and am glad for it.

Alot of the people have alot of money in that school and believe they own the earth because "daddy bought them a pony pip pip tally ho."

I had a similar shouting match a while ago but with a teacher instead and almost got suspended and it was a ridiculously stupid but so was he.

Just like to say that I understand and hope to get decent GCSE's in 4 weeks time.

As you say rights are very dangorous things to claim they get taken for granted far to easily.

Just a few things about myself that feels alot easier to say on the internet.

First, the laser pointers...I have two and they are used to torment the cats.
As far as those smart a$$ rich kids. I see their "mighter then thou" attutudes almost every day. I live near ithaca, NY...home of  Cornell University. These kids walk across streets with out looking and expect you to stop on a dime. They drive their volvos, BMW's and SUV's like they own the road and the rules dont apply to them. These are the same kids that steal from others for fun and think daddy is going to bail them out. These are the same kids that get busted for causing injuries in a DUI crash and daddy bails them out. Now before you kids in school start screeming at me for being closed minded, These kids are the minority. But like they say...a few bad apples can spoil the whole barrell.
well thats my two cents worth!

its not really about not trusting people it just takes a long time because of previous experiances to actually accept someone as a friend

I edited my first post for grammar. I was just typing whatever goes on in my mind.

There are a number of interesting stories and experiences. In a way I dont follow the herd, but there is not much of a herd the be in.

As for the rich kids, my Calculus teacher exploded in one of the morning classes. From what I hear, she started yelling and swearing at the spoiled freaks. The staff knows what kind of students they are dealing with, so she was easily let go.

Well, at this point a feel confused. In a way every bit of effort counts, my mom was delighted when I got into Astrophysics at a fairly good university. In fact, this university was responsible for making some Canadian astronauts. Then their design programs lets their students work at the Canadian Space Agency at fourth year. At the same time, I think I will flush out in the first year if I dont study over the summer break. I went through university books and there is a big leap in math, I doubt I can adjust with such a change or even meet deadlines.

Either than this university I got accepted to, I'm also accepted in a number of engineering programs and waiting for more replies. One of the other universitie I got into also produced the first female Canadian astronaut.

This is another thing that I'm not quite sure I should have posted here. I'm just spilling all my thoughts onto this forum, perhaps I'm been boastful and I think I really have. I figured that universities is a hands off topic. In person some people my age doesn

Here in Hungary lawyers are held in v.high regard, and theirs is one of the toughest uni. courses to get through, after med. They are still considered professional people, not low-lifes like certain countries I could mention.

Ah well. About 3 times in the last term our german teacher has got slightly pissed off and stormed out of the room.

I also have GCSE's in 4 weeks and due to the schools incompitance me and my maths set are probably going to fail maths. You may say that is our own fault this but it isn't. Since febuary last year our maths set has had no less that 23 differant teachers. And it doesn't help much that were the lowest set either.

Anyway, laser pointers... There great fun. just shine them between peoples eyes and they don't notice.
