How many of you live where the seasons change regularly? Where I live here in NY, we have all four seasons.

Summers which can get up to 95 on a hot day. (June thru August).

Here in Northern Idaho, Summers can be very hot. We also get quite a few large thunderstorms in our area.

Fall can be nice, but towards the end it starts snowing and is very cold. We usually have snow from November to February. During this period, the daily average tempreture is usually around 20 degrees F.

Spring usually doesn't get nice untill mid-April, then it starts warming up.

That about sums it up!

Summer = warm rain.

Autumn = windy rain.

Winter = Cold rain.

Spring = wet rain.

are you sure about that warm rain?? i mean we dont really get a summer more like two springs:) gotta goto northen mississippi in middle of summer, 100*F and that was some serious storms and warm rain
but smoke2much pretty much summed up british weather accuratley:)

That sounds like Seattle. It is "raining" and grey all year long there.  Seattle also has the highest suicide rate in America! Hope that's not true where you are!!

I love our seasons here in England, that's why it's referred to as a "Green and pleasant land"..... ...!
We have a lovely "temperate" climate which means we don't get "extreme" weather, it's generally nice and gentle from season to season, with thanks to the warm Gulf Stream*.
Note that we refer to "the fall" as "Autumn" over here... ...!
Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

We are in the middle of Spring now, grass getting greener, fresh leaves on the trees, loads of Spring flowers popping-up everywhere.... ...!
Daytime temperature around 15-20 deg, C...(cosy)...!

I'm with you there Fozzer. I tend to agree with most of what you say these days which I find a tad worrying.  ::)

Course, it depends whereabouts you live. I never venture into Will's part of the world if I can help it. Do I need a passport?
You guys should visit sunny Goring-by-Sea sometime, the Costa Geriatrica of the South. Mind you, it's raining right now. LOL  :P
