Hello

This is the problem: I would like to have two tables each with computer components in using MS Word and when somebody wishes to buy a component the stock level goes down by one in the other table (stock table)

Can this be done as it would be really helpful.

PS this isn't real but I am trying to make it as real as possible

I believe it can be easily accomplished using Power Point, which is an interfaced spread sheet program of Word in the MS Office suite.
