Hey there Crazy, and while you are at it, make sure some of the ordnants dont 'fall away' and completley flatten those people and their mansion.......

Man this subject really gets me sometimes. The ONLY people who have a right to complain about aircraft noise are the people who are in their senior years, as chances are, the airfield was there a long time before they were, and even bigger is the chance that they moved to that area knowing full well that there was an airfiled in close proximity.
If they dont like it, simple......move. The majority of RAF airfileds have been around since before WW2.

Better get down from my soapbox before i start on the heathrow 'Hacan clear skies idiots'.......

It's the sad state of things today.  People are unable and unwilling to take any responsibility for their own lives.  They constantly look for others to blame their misfortunes on.  I should sue my school of nursing 'cos the pressure of the course that I completed damaged my relationship with my wife.  I could also sue them for putting me on a ward with a very attractive nurse that caused the breakdown of my marriage.  I could make a fortune LOL.

Will ;D

This takes the piss... totaly! >:(
They think they got it bad? When i go stay with my dad at RAF St. Athan (Cardiff) you usualy get rudely awoken at 6:30am by 3 or 4 tornado's or jaguars at a time, all using afterburners on takeoff. So you know, St. Athan is DARA's home base, who service all the RAF's aircraft, VC-10's, Harriers, C-17's you name it, its been there for repairs.
Why do people have to complain about stupid things like this? I'm going to sue MS for not providing a yellow and pink box for Windows XP ::).

Guys we all know that people like this are muppets, and not really worthy of the gift of life, I know I've lived next door to a few people like this, but please tone the language down a little.
Oh and Craig, drop some napalm on their lawn for me. It smells like victory! Just kidding, what they should have done was ask him to go and fight in the next war in their stead as they hadn't had enough training... I sometimes wonder what goes on in side peoples heads, in the case of farmers living in 16th century manors in Cambridgeshire, not a lot!

Last time I was at Strathallan a call came in from Auchterarder, the guy complaining of our cessenas was a "pilot". He couldn't understand why he was being overflown by "low flying aircraft" every few minutes. He tried to order the cheif instructor to change our flight plans so as not to disturb him so early on a sunday (at 15:00hrs).
Now our aircraft were only bellow 5000 feet whilst climbing and decending and at no point came within 7 miles of the village, putting this guy in his place was great fun ;D.

That's not half as bad as one I heard.
Southwest Airlines is know for their fun and perky air staff. They often use rhymes and such to cheer up passengers. One day an innocent young stewardess said "Enie Minie Miny Mo, pick a seat we've got to go" to try and get people to take their seats. Southwest is now being sued by two African American women who were apauled at the use of this rhyme because of its "racial origins." The stewardess did not know about the rhyme's racist origins. You older guys will know how the rhyme may be concieved as racist.
[center]I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday. ;)
