Postby katana_1000 » Mon Mar 24, 2003 5:10 pm

Professor Susumu Tachi from the Tokyo University is the inventor of the 'invisibility cloak'. Tachi wants to develop the technology for medical and civilian usage. They are calling it Optical Camoflage and it looks very, very cool. I soooo want this!I really  want a vest made like that;);):):) and show it off at school;)http://www.star.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp/projects/MEDIA/xv/oc.html

WOW! That is cooler than liquid nitrogen. 8) I've gotta have one. Then I could sneak up on my students and find out what they are saying about me.
And then there is that bizarre idea about breaking into the local brewery......... ;D

Brensec, believe me you need to hear what students are saying about you. Sometimes its just AMAZING! And often quite funny.
As for the beer, what is wrong with that. I'm a married man, so no sneaky looking at the menu when she-who-must-be-obeyed isn't around! Also wouldn't the water in the showers short out the coat and blow the gig?

It looks fake to me. It like blue screen technology. In the bone2 video the skeloten doesnt move, (and why doesnt he show his arms? ;)
And the one with him sitting infront of the traffic looks like a low-budget BBC program with blue screens from the 80's - 90's where parts of their cloths are see-through. Hitch Hickers guide to the galaxy or Red Dwarf are good ones, or Michel Fish reporting the weather 8)
