Concorde Visit - Gander

This little town of Gander Newfoundland, Canada, 12K pop, got a visit from the Air France, Concorde last night, along with 25 other passenger "heavies" - diverted from JFK due to weather. But then again this is the town that was the main diversion point for flights bound for the USA when the Sept 11(911) disaster occurred - Hosting, along with several other small towns approx 50/60 passenger heavies and thousands of stranded passengers, - think it doubled the population. Wonderful!!!! Splash
