While out walking the dog tonight I saw my first F35, surprised by how loud it was even though it wasn't going very fast.

I grew up a quarter of a mile off the approach to runway 24 about a mile from the threshold of Long Island MacArthur airport (KISP). Every so often a flight of F-18's or F-16's would land, it's almost as though the slower they go the louder they are. Funny thing is I think the airshows were quieter than those landings and takeoffs lol

Heard it flying around for the last few days but the weathers been heavy overcast and unable to see what was making all of the noise.
