2019 New Years Morning

Goodly morning all...

Old Girl and Daughter-In-Law are in Kitchen preparing a Brunch for 16.

We are still at the Old Homestead and I went to bed at 02:30 after Firing Off Old Brown Bess at Midnight... (Family Tradition)

Grandchildren get a big kick/bang out of that...

Four of our children are away flying and will not be home until end of month...lonely Christmas for their immediate families...

Old Girl and I will be going home tomorrow with a Traditional Stop at the Local Bugsmashing Field to sit around the Bull Shit Table and Chew the Rag with other Old Retired Rocking Chair Flying Geezers...
Always a chore to see who can tell the Tallest Tale

New Years Dinner will see another full dining room table with family...roast beef with all the trimmings and venison...

Can't believe how Very Good I was in 2018...not sure if the Land Rover will hold all these Gifts... (Actually Old Girl has already taken a lot of stuff home already with help from several Granddaughters)...

We had Snow for Christmas Day but the Rain the last several days has taken it all away...a Green Christmas...myself I prefer the Snow...

Well that is it for today folks...Old Girl is pointing her finger at me... ...

Every year when New Years morning starts, I realise that it is exactly the same as it was the day before...

The only thing that has changed is the number of the year; 2018 to 2019.

Everything else is exactly the same, (apart from, maybe, the weather).

Nothing magical occurs!.... ... ...!
