Drive in's are long gone from Miami. One was right behind the building where one of the CPA's I work for has his office, the site is now a Publix with a large parking lot.
Every time I walk that parking lot it's like hallowed ground, or asphalt. I remember that drive in from the good old days. If only that asphalt could talk.

Another was right next to where my father worked in the 50's and 60's, it's now a car dealership.

Sex at a drive-in was pretty much a right of passage back in my day. And, if you remembered the name of the movie, you weren't really there.
