Be careful Paul! :hand: This only applies to DST in some parts of the USA.

In the UK we will have to wait a bit longer. Our clocks go forward to BST on Sunday, 25 March 2018 --> https://www.timeanddate.com/time/change/uk/london?year=2018

.... ... ...!

The thing I like about analogue clocks/instruments with hands...

...(compared to Digital displays)....

You can still read them accurately because they measure/indicate; "space in time!"

There are analogue clocks with hands all around my house, my wrist watch is analogue with hands, and my speedometer on my motorcycle is analogue with a hand... :D ...!

Digital displays only show the instant in time!.....Nothing before, and nothing yet to come!

...and our Analogue has an extra; "u" and; "e" in the word!... ;) ...!

Paul..."hands-on"...and "spaced-out".... ... ...!

Isn't Erryfurd on UK time any more Paul? Spring was always a little later when I lived there.

The vast majority of my Internet Chums on Forums, Youtube, and general e-mail, etc, reside in the; "Land of the Free", so my shout out here relates mainly to them this weekend, whilst waiting for my time clock change to arrive in Western Europe later in the month!

Although we forget with the harshness of the weather, Winter is what brings the start of longer days, that process half over at the start of Spring... and the start of Summer brings the start of shorter days...

Fozzer wrote:...More Sun and Warmth!
...and the first day of Spring will be a few minutes longer than the last day of Winter -- but no guarantee that it will be warmer in the Spring's first days. We had warmer days toward February's end with almost all of the snow melted... then we were hit with over a half foot of snow; rain and warm temps nearly melted all of that... then we were covered with more than a foot of snow and temps stayed below 40F; it's currently 43F and the snowbanks are, once again, quite well melting.

The Snow Ploughs have done their work here, Yan...

..its just the constant rain, day after day, which is of concern now....

...particularly, as I haven't yet completed re-furbishing my Ark in readiness for casting her afloat in all the present rainwater!

Funny stuff, Weather!... ...!

Paul.... ...!

It seems changing the clocks (and, maybe, Shadowcaster's explanation of cricket) has confused winter and it doesn't know if it's coming or going: it warms, it chills; it calms, it blows; the sun gives hope... and it's now been snowing since @ six o'clock this morning (small help that it would have been five o'clock some while ago). Well, it's reduced to a few small flakes in the face, gently falling. Winter, Spring...Winter, Spring... coat or jacket -- my outerwear is getting worn out. [I hope that statement's not too punishable].
