This would be great if you had a Ski Doo armed
with a couple of 50 Cal machine guns.,A rocket launcher,
an Elon Muskox flame thrower and a bazooka. I would
chase all those ski borders all over the mountains.

Good clean fun Jet. :o

Nice yancovitch...very nice... <<q

We have a 3 day snow storm which started about several hours ago.

Toronto should get hit heavy at evening rush hour.

We have maybe a coulple of feet of snow so far...not much

What people don't realize is we need the snow for our wells for those of us who live in the country.

As an Aviator I have a Log Book Full of flying off wheel skis on DC3s, DHC-3 Otters and far too many bug smashers too name.

Winter Flying is fabulous opening up frozen bodies of water to use as runways. Winter camping is great...don't knock it if you have not tried it...

Like the other three seasons I always carry a couple of wobbly pop bottles during the winter just in case of a Snow Snake bite... :o
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

i'm in awe of fellows who fly ......especially dc-3's.....if i wasn't such a wimp and so mentally challenged...that's where i'd be...couldn't even pass the air cadets aptitude test when i was young....i was born a dreamer and will die as such :D

Nice shot there Yan! It looks like a typical Minnesota winter scene. Here in KAXN we're sitting at -2 F with just a couple of inches of snow. Normally we'd look like you by now but this year has been weird snowfall wise. Lots of cold temps but little snow. And folks may not realize it but that snow is also the main source of water that refills the lakes in the area.

My old flight instructor would rationalize winter this way... Minnesota is the "Land of 10,000 Lakes" in the summer but in the winter it's the land of 10,000 extra runways. Personally I love flying in the winter. Lots of lift out there and the fair weather pilots are all on the ground.

If it moves and it's not supposed to - use the Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and it's supposed to - use the WD40.

The white material that you observe on the ground is called; "SNEU"!.

From my detailed observations, it is what 'appens when the rain gets very cauld.
