Maybe we should invent some more descriptive words to describe THEM!

Shortly after arriving in the UK, I Landed a very nice job in "Applied Research" in medical devices. Soon learned that this department was full of buzz words, half of which I did not understand, and neither did they.
The favourite was: "Blue Sky Thinking". :lol:

Now goes to show you, because you can't be in R+D Applied Research AND have blue sky thinking at the same time.
In Applied research your research is specific to a given task/problem, and limited to the task at hand. No freedom of the " blue sky."

All very pretentious and a lot of BS if you ask me.
