What a joy to see an Australian, Summer, 1967, music festival scene, and not a Baseball Cap in sight!

Wonderful, innocent, happy times!

1960's; my Café Racer, wild Motorcycle days!

Late 60's early 70,seventies. What a time that was.

We thought we could change the world into
a better place. Peace , Blending all races into one
Wonderful united world..

We thought our children would lead us to that goal.

Remember the music of the period. Bob Dylan,Buffy
Saint Marie, Simon and Garfunkel. Etc.

What the hell happened.?

The fusion of mass confusion and disillusion between one generation and the next. Ignoring the fact that every mind is an 'organic' computer subject to effects of biological viruses and anomalies as is any other part of the body. A fellow worker once told me that what America needed was "a little Hitler... just a little one." Sure, and Hitler started little... and, so common for the type, got too big for his pants and had most everyone else trying to hang onto theirs for dear life. Another great problem is that we can intend to spread love all we want but, first, everyone has to know what love actually is before they can employ it.

Aust summer 67.Not a baseball cap in sight,
except me. I have always worn one since I was a little kid.

When I first came here, people stared at me because of that.
Plus the long blond hair down over my shoulders.

I looked like a hippy Fozzer but never tried drugs.

Anthin!

So it was YOU that brought that piece of all-Americal headwear across the oceans from the USA, and encouraged its use!!

Now, everyone seems to be wearing them, including folks in the Public Service Industry and the Military, etc...

They always seem to think it looks; "Cool", especially when it includes wearing a pair of Sun Shades to match, to hide the expression in their eyes!

I have photo's of me wearing my 1960's-70's Flower-Power outfits, including the long hair, tight-fitting purple shirt, flares, big belt, Elton John shoes, etc, but these are stored, out-of-sight in a locked case.

"Baseball Hats" seem as common as "Jeans" now!

Paul...."Jeans"..I don't mind...don't have many other choices!... ...!

I confess Fozzer. It was I who introduced
baseball caps to Terra Australis . I am guilty.

Looks better than a bush hat six feet wide with
corks all around the brim. Supposed to help keep
trillions of flies away from ones face. :o

I have about a dozen caps in my collection.
Toronto Maple Leafs logo.Stargate SG-1,
New York Yankees,Boeing and many others.

....Never fear Rich.... :? ...

...I've lost the key (temporarily) to the case containing the clothes and photographs... ;) .... ;) ...!

Its funny, thinking back now, everyone, including me, used to go to work in the office every day, with our big hair, and dressed in all our Flower Power clothes!
It was nothing unusual at the time, in the 1960's and 1970's...and the ladies all wore their Mini-skirts!
Remember Clint Eastwood and the Dirty Harry Films!
Its a time I remember very well, but I still get embarrassed thinking about it.

Paul...its all a bit boring now that all the; "Flowers" have all died!!
