Ta for the heads-up on your local Weather, Chris!...>>>

https://weather.com/en-GB/weather/tenda ... X0617:1:US

I note tomorrow morning (Tuesday) yours temp will be down to 5 degrees Centigrade (17/5).
(I always follow USA (and mine) Temperatures in Fahrenheit!)

Quite cold for the Gulf of Mexico!

Looks like you will be getting lots of rain soon, which could turn to snow during a cold snap!

Take care.

The rest of the week for us.

Long range forecast.

Still very cold, and no signs of the deep snow thawing for a while, so I am stranded at home. No Motorcycling to the shops!

Paul...Brrrrr.... :( ....!

A refreshing -17 Celsius degrees outside tonight with approximately 1 foot of snow on the ground. This is typical weather in central Canada for this time of year.

@Anthin....

There must be some happy place between Australia and Canada where the weather is nice and comfortable all the time....

That's where I want to be all year round!

The forecast for Britain last night was 5*F (0-15*C) in the countryside.... ...!

The cold has now frozen the snow solid! It's goin to be a very slow melt...if ever it happens!

Paul....got enough food and drink to last for a few more days...and its warm indoors...(22*C)!... :D ....!

Hello Roy!

All the colourful Autumn/Fall leaves have long gone for me and all of my Youtube USA Motorcycle Chums up in the Pacific North-West, and up in the Atlantic North-East.

All the trees are bare now, apart from the Evergreens, and my garden trees are collapsing under the weight of frozen snow!

No sign of the snow melting for days now!

Must keep my Larder stocked up!

Hi Paul, am I glad that I don't still live in Hereford? No I'm not? I'd move back tomorrow it were possible, and my wife feels the same. If we were in Westhope now, the fire would be glowing in the inglenook, and we would be contentedly sipping the whisky and brandy. Chestnuts roasting by an open fire?

Merry Christmas!

All the roads are a nightmare at the moment, covered in ice and hard frozen snow!
It's almost impossible to get off our housing estate!
I've made up my shopping list, and tomorrow one of my Lads is picking me up in his car and taking me to Sainsbury's to do a load of shopping....
...and bring me back home again!.... ....!

It's going to be many days before I can get my Motorcycle back on the road again!

It's bitterly cold outside, with temps well below freezing.

This should be England....not the Arctic Circle!.... ....!

Got to keep cheery, though!.... ...!

Really happy for you Fozzer, that you are getting a ride
to the shops.
Climate change is bringing a big change to the world's
weather.
Lots of hot and spicy homemade soups are the order
of the day.

Keep warm.

Goodly morning ALL... ;)

As I type this the outside temperature is MINUS 23 CELSIUS with the Wind-chill....

Last night we got our first snowfall...close to a FOOT of the Wonderful White Stuff....

Nice and sunny right now with the sun glistening off the snow....

AND to think it is not even WINTER yet....

Winter is the 21st of December so a week and a day away....

I just can't imagine living somewhere where there is not Four (4) Distinct Seasons each bringing it's own Beauty and Wonders to this Planet.

The Old Girl and I are off for a 2 Mile walk along the river which has not frozen over yet....hope she brings money as it is her turn to buy the Wobbly Pop before starting home... :violin:
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Blimey!

Is Hereford 'up North!

Down here in the south east, 16 miles from the channel, it just rains!

..... .... ....!

Sometimes, during the Winter, the County of Herefordshire (West-Midlands) moves further North to the Arctic Circle, which it did last Sunday, with close to a foot of snow, and Temps down to -5C (23F).
Where you are, in the South-East, you are much closer to the Mediterranian than us up here. and therefore enjoy a much more enviable climate...with Palm Trees?

At the moment, I would much rather be in Phoenix, Arizona, than struggling through ice and snow in Hereford City.

Today was the first time since last Sunday that I was able to get out to the shops, with the benefit of a Motor Car ferry, courtesy of one of my Sons....Too dangerous on my Motorcycle!
It's going to be a while before all the snow has gone!

Unlike Doug (Flying Trucker), I can quite well do without; "Winter". Far too cold, wet, and miserable for me!.... :( .....!

I need "Summer" all year round, with just a sprinkling of Spring and Autumn thrown in!

Like Butterflies....I need Sunshine and Warmth... ....!
