Beaming

For about a month, scientists beamed up @ 6 million photons from a Tibet ground station to a low-orbit satellite with about 900 successes. This means Scotty may be able to beam you up... well, a very small part of you... a very tiny, miniscule bit at a time... over a prolonged passage of time... and what remains...
well, Dr. McCoy's reservations toward the transporter may have been due to his knowledge of its early beginnings.

During my frequent visits to Mr. Sainsbury's Food Emporium on my motorcycle, I often experience the overwhelming urge to Beam the stationary traffic ahead of me up onto the Planet Zorg, in the constellation of Orion!

...(together with my neighbour's Cats)...

The marvels of teleportation.

You know what "they" say about wireless communications - It'll never be much more than a scientific toy. Hardly useful at all. :geek:

The telegraph is far more reliable. :D
