Do they remember their children's names. This weekend I asked my oldest cousin what her mother's middle name was. She told me she really didn't know, she never paid mind to middle names and she'd never asked; but she did know her own middle name.
When I then asked what her son's middle name was, she replied, "To be honest, I don't remember."
"You don't remember? You gave him the name!"
"I know," she said with a chuckle, "but it's been 60 years."
At least she remembers when he was born...
