My slow-cooker has been on since a while past midnight; should be well done by noon. Since a garden squash wouldn't fit in with the rest in my small cooker, I might utilize some of the puréed pumpkin I got for 25¢ per can. Me mither, whose maiden name stretched from south of Dál Riada in Eire to south of Dál Riada in what's now Scotland, will be 95-yrs-old tomorrow.

The Irish part, on my mothers side, has left unmarked graves in many countries.

In this country, it was from New York down to whatever northern Mexican state that later became Texas.

There was no riding in covered wagons for them, they walked every foot of the way down there.

I love the stories of where all my American Chums originated from!

...and I am always curious as to why they left their Homeland!

Lots of stories to tell!... ;) ....!

Its surprising just how many of my North American Chums are actually European!
