As most of you know....

...or don't know?.... :shifty: ...!

..... ;) ....

Most, if not all, of my Flight Sim flights since FS '98, have involved exploring various parts of the glorious scenery of the USA, and this often involves travelling the Interstate highways from the air, using my FS Navigator, FS Tramp, G-Plan, Google, etc, maps, which "Ultimate Terrain USA" shows in such great detail!

I often fire up my You-Tube and watch the various Motorcycle (Harley Davidson) rides and organised tours around various States, and in doing so, I came across this marvellous You-Tube Channel, where a long-haul truck driver videos his journeys around the whole of the USA, State by State!

A journey which I have "flown" many times, is the route from Victorville/Hesperia to San Bernardino and the Los Angeles Valley, along Interstate 15, with the San Gabriel Mountains off to one side, and the San Bernardino Mountains far off in the distance...>>>>

A wonderful, alternative experience to view the aerial scenery which we are familiar with, at ground level!

Pick your favourite State, and let the Truck Driver take you on a journey!

..then take the same journey by aeroplane, and compare the difference!

Paul..... Have Aeroplane + Motorcycle...will travel!..... :D ...!

Ta Pilot.... ;) ...!

I suspect that you, like me, enjoy exploring the scenery down below......(as the Bishop said to the Actress).... ;) ...!

I get so much enjoyment from my daily scenery explorations, that I quite forget to press; "screen grab" during my journey!... :o ....!

At least, on my motorcycle, my video camera in always switched on before I start my journey!

Geography, and (paper) Maps, was always my favourite subject at school (many Moons ago)!

Modern GPS mapping on a Tablet/Mobile Phone is never quite the same nowadays!....>>>> http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-37613934

Paul.....up Route 99 in Cal Central Valley, past Bakersfield.... :D ....!
