skydive, no parachute

Postby OldAirmail » Sat Jul 30, 2016 9:30 am

Recently I've been seeing news about some guy who plans to jump out of an aircraft without a parachute. WITH the intention of living. :D

I hate to tell him, but fame can be VERY shortlived.

Although I'd love to try it WITH a parachute, I think that there would have to be someone behind me to give me some assistance via a big boot to the butt.

So I'm not really knocking him.

But tell me, How many of you remember this jump from 2014?

I hadn't heard of that one but this one is on TV tonight (30 July in the US).

Something funny about that video. I'm not sure if it's a joke or people think it's real but it's obviously totally fake. (maybe it's a well known joke that I haven't seen before .... )

Coming through a 5x3 hole at 125mph?

The way he hits the 'trampoline' ...

Anyways ... no way real ....

Tonight though is apparently a real attempt. Will be interesting to see.

Jumping out of an aeroplane without a parachute...

Not the sort of friend I would like to have!... ...!
