The Friday Feast

Postby Shadowcaster » Fri Jun 24, 2016 12:48 pm

Other wise known as the Friday fry up, well grill up these days, with a touch of HP Sauce. Best served with a nice mug of tea, Smugglers Brew.

The slow death of HP Sauce!...>>>>

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... chips.html

Like many other condiments which contain unhealthy amounts of Salt!

I am aware of the excess amount of salt in many of my "add-ons" to my various meals!

In my case, its often Stock Cubes, etc, to make my gravy for my daily meals!

Sugar and Salt: Two excesses to avoid!

Its Sugar and Salt which makes things tasty!.....We cant win!.... ....!

I must say that does look nice to a hungry guy like me. Image Though I would have thought it more of a breakfast than evening meal ....

Anything like Steak, and most sorts of fresh meat, is far too expensive in our Shops, so its something I rarely have...if ever!

Thats TERRIBLE news for me. I cannot eat Beef without HP Sauce, and no other will do.
I hope it stays on the market for many years, even if at a higher price.

Thanks for the comments chaps, a very unhealthy meal I know but a little of what you fancy does you good.  Talking of sauces I didn't know that HP was getting less popular, :o as much as I like HP my favorite sauce was Beetop which some of our members from Blighty might remember, sadly they stopped making that in the 80's. :(
