It's more of an "everything you wanted to know about Spam (the food, not the email)".

I ate it many years ago and was considering buying a can with all of the renewed interest but it's gotten expensive. You can buy real ham for practically the same price.

I have 2 unopened tins of it in my larder, given to me as a present, many years ago.

I still cant figure out what to do with it...

My Sister recommends cutting it into thick slices, and frying it... ...!

..I'm still not brave enough... ...!

Your sister is right; fried spam fritters cut into chunks makes great carp bait! Just don't be tempted to eat it yourself, even with your excellent culinary skills...........no, it won't kill you, neither will dog food - you just wouldn't eat it that's all!

Many years ago when I was at school spam fritters (spam slices coated in batter & deep fried) was a firm favourite in the school canteen.

Spam is a delicacy in Hawaii, it is crazy how much they love it, I would compare it to grits in the south as far as popularity goes.
