Really Tough or just plain stupid ?

Whilst we're having some pretty crappy weather here in the Uk at the moment, I came across the following article while surfing the net.

They breed us tough as hell over here -- -- and maybe a little bit bonkers as well.

I have to admit, it did make me smile !

Have you ever seen an American golf tournament? They cancel a round if there is rain within 100 miles. They call it a "lightning threat".

In Scotland they play golf in what we would consider hurricanes. I guess they don't have lightning in Scotland.

Hello Blue Skies, I like the photo. It shows some men with a great attitude . They won't let a mere flood change their lifestyle! They are my kind of guys . If it weren't for the risk of imminent death I would gladly join them.

Oh there is plenty of lightning in Scotland Webb, the difference is we of Scottish blood if we got hit by lightning would say "Hey, free electricity" rather than worry about it. I guess it is all down to perspective
