..you beat me to it, Jet!!!.... :o ....!

I've just woken up this morning, Sunday, and spotted the news, on the BBC News on my Computer, and I was fired up to post the same news as you!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-34759177

I always amazed at all the secret stuff that constantly goes on the USA, that the locals, and the rest of the World, don't get to see or hear about until after the event, and the cat is out of the bag!

Its scary!

I spend a lot of time searching out secret military, etc, establishments hidden deep in the USA deserts, etc, in my Flight Sim, with the help of Wikipedia and my Google Sat Maps, and zooming down to explore them in detail.

There's an awful lot of; "Secret Area 51-type stuff" going on in the USA, every minute of the day, that is hidden from the rest of us out here!

It never ceases to amaze me the number of people who call the police when they see a light in the sky..........They should call the fire department, they are the ones with the ladders...........

I had to recite this quote more than once when we had a UFO incident at March Air Force Base in late spring 1976, after two big triangle-shapes flew over the base and onwards across Orange County, California. Both 1975 and 1976 were years of multiple UFO sightings over USAF bases. I was roused out of bed very early in the morning to help answer the phones in the public affairs office. What were they? As I grow older, I tend to subscribe to the Rare Earth Hypothesis. As my boss, Major Daly, told the reporters who wanted an explanation: "It beats the hell out of me." The Air Force couldn't explain two big black triangles flying silently close to mach 2, and didn't like it much when they went directly over the weapons storage area.

"The Air Force does not conduct active investigations of unidentified flying objects. We suggest that you contact your local university for possible explanations."

An old Air Force Reserve light colonel told me" "If you thought the kids were playing with matches again, wouldn't you check on them now and then?" That comment gave me the shivers.

The Rare Earth Hypothesis: In planetary astronomy and astrobiology, the Rare Earth Hypothesis argues that the origin of life and the evolution of biological complexity such as sexually reproducing, multicellular organisms on Earth (and, subsequently, human intelligence) required an improbable combination of astrophysical and geological events and circumstances. The hypothesis argues that complex extraterrestrial life is a very improbable phenomenon and likely to be extremely rare.

I was stationed in Singapore when the moon landing was broadcast on RTS. You should have been a fly on the wall in the mess after that. The fantasies that were discussed could have made a better movie than Capricorn. :angelic-cyan:
