It seems to me there are mashed potatoes (I say potato, you say poteito: patatas or papas in castilian) so the drooling messed up my PC keyboard :violin: :violin: :violin:

Jean... ;) ....

..what appears? to be (mashed potato) in the served meal, are actually home-made; "Suet Dumplings"...>>>

http://www.cookuk.co.uk/vegetarian/dumplings.htm

A very popular addition in Stews and Casseroles!

The Potatoes appearing in the meal are sliced, pre-boiled Potatoes.

Paul...lots more left for Dins today!.... ....!

Mmmm....Dumples.

A seriously underrated food are dumplings. Herbs and spices, Mustard, White Wine, Beer, Honey and Garlic or just plain.

I can feel my arteries clogging up as I type.

Herby Dumplings!

But they are nice....Leave the lid off for a while for the tops to go nice and crispy!

Nice food makes you/me happy and contented!

I would love a meal like that, as long as someone else did the shopping, preparation, cooking and washing up. As it happens, I have to do it all myself, so I tend to stick to pot noodles and microwave meals with throw-away plates and cutlery…..still have the wine with it though – I’m not completely sad!

I rate my meals in terms of efficiency i.e. time taken to eat / time taken to prepare and clean up. If I achieve anything much less than unity, the meal is not worth the effort.

Have to admire you for your culinary talent Foz; I don’t know how you find time for flying with all that cooking! Do you have a Filipino to do the chores for you?
