...I have just been reborn.... ....!

I have back-tracked 12 years of my life...all over again!

Since Garry has fired up my interest with his recent offering of; "The Ford Blackhawk Project for FS 2004", (the FS 2004 Forum), the past few days I have been very busy re-installing all the various goodies back into my re-installed copy of my old FS 2004!
It has reminded me of all the good times I had with all my fellow FS 2004 Chums, before the birth of FSX!

My FS 2004 scenery is now filled with all the hours I spent, long ago, adding various objects to various airfields with all sorts of objects, care of my "LAGO FS Scenery Enhancer" objects, (saved on CD's), and bringing the airfields to life, together with "FS Global SE" scenery mesh!.... :D ...!

Of course, with my modern "Gaming Computer" running my FS 2004, I can now wind up all my settings to the max, and watch the scenery flow smoothly by!

All sorts of bits and bobs are slowly being added to enhance the scenery like it did in the past, and each time I fire up my FS 2004 I am transported back in time, when I was considerably younger, and full of enthusiasm and excitement!

...and, of course, I follow my progress on the ground and in the air, courtesy of my trusty; "FS Navigator" GPS Map, (also saved on CD's)... ;) ...!

(It shows the value of storing ones Payware Programs, etc, on CD's, together with all their "Installation Key" information, etc, stored safely in a little black book!)

Obviously, I still run my FSX, with all its really amazing scenery, etc, but the chance to enjoy my; "childhood" again, from the early days of FS 2002 and FS 2004, is a real treat for me!

Even my hair has all grown back again!... ...Woo-Hoo!

There's nothing quite like an occasional; "blast from the past", now and again, to bring a smile to ones face!

FS 2004 is dead...Long live FS 2004!.... ...!

To tell you the troof...(would I lie? .. ;) ..)...the only thing that I REALLY miss in my FS 2004, is the; "moving traffic"; air, land, and sea, of FSX!

As all we FS 2004'ers know, FS 2004 can be made just as beautiful as FSX, with a few add-on bits and bobs, payware and freeware!

..and of course, it always runs smoothly, even on a lowly computer!...SMOOTHLY is always nice!... :D ...!

And "Multiplayer" flights with Chums are always ready for instant connection!

There's plenty of life in the old girl, yet....trust me!... ...!

Paul....FS'98, FS 2000, FS 2002, FS 2004, FSX, CFS2...all on my HDD....ready to titivate my tonsils at a moments notice!... ...!
