Drone Drivers Needed

Here's something to sink your dentures into. Holoman (sp?) is running into a shortage of virtual pilots at their facility (training AB near tuscon). So what if we retirees double up, say three to a shift one to fly one to get coffee and the odd smoke breaks can be handled by the third. Pay the oldsters minimum airman salary with free base privileges and a liberal beer ration.
That way we can keep them off the streets, out of the casinos and make them feel like they contribute. What do you think?

Actually, that doesn't seem too out of sorts -- and it isn't too different from one of my first video games as a crew chief of a SAM radar unit (except, as a training unit, our missles were simulated -- didn't want a green Wrong-Way-Charlie pilot to run into one of our drones). Plus, they'd save some with me since I don't drink beer (too bitter; they may lose more with me per creamer, although I do put in a dash of coffee for a hint of caffein...

I did say beer. Okay, beer in the southwest is more or less glorified water... something for your sweat glands to worry about. After a stint in a air conditioned sensory overload cubicle and a walk across a 100+ degree parking lot you do not care if it might have a bitter aftertaste. I should have specified COLD beer which covers a lot of bases. On the other hand this sort of thing is what we do for FUN and sometimes PAY to do so... the military would be getting a bargain.
