Hi there, I've realised that I've made over 20 posts here and haven't said hello yet.
Hello.
My name is Laurie, I'm in my mid 50's, married and have 3 kids, that are 2 adults and a teenager.
I live in the UK and worked in the airline industry in the 80's, but like all sorts of aircraft.
My account is strangely named after the Ford Anglia car of the 30's to 70's.
Best wishes to all in a great community from all over the world.
Cheers, For Danglia.

Sorry not to have said welcomed you before this, but WELCOME!

I Do you have an FSX version?

Webb: Thank you, first one to say hello, I'm using FSX, I've finally (?) taken FS9 off, but I might have another go with it sometime.
Bass: Thanks, I think that's spot on, it is a strange club, but we're all joined by this great hobby that's so diverse.
Fozzer (Paul): Many thanks, The Allegro, yeah, had a drive in my mate's one once, with the wierd "quartic" wheel, but lovely hydrolastic suspension.
Old Airmail: Thank you, that's no problem, I wish I had been flying that Anglia, it would be good fun to have one for FS too.
Bass: Thanks for that, I love the way J.K. managed to get our kids reading again and I reckon you're right about her not going to work (much).
In short, have a good one all.
Cheers, For Danglia.

Ozzy: Thanks for the welcome, thought I'd do this one seperately, If I may ask a question of you.
I think that the airshow season must have finished, but is there still anything else going on in the south at all this year?
Cheers, For Danglia.

BTW - That bridge? It's in the Orbx-FTX scenery of the UK. North West Scotland to be exact.
Definitely worth the trouble (if you can call flying some beautiful scenery "trouble") to find it.

Old Airmail, thanks, I have UTX Europe, but I'll see if I can find it on there.
I seem to spend most time sim-flying around Bristol lately.
Cheers, For Danglia.

Hi there OldAirmail, thanks for taking the time to do that for me.
I'll have a scoot around the area, also, you're obviously pretty nifty with putting pictures in the thread there!
All have a good one and thanks again.
Ford.

On that old Ford Anglia,,,,Was the "invisibility switch" (Like the one on Mr. Weasely's from the Ministry of Magic) "Standard" or "Optional" equipped??

Sorry guys I couldn't resist asking!
BTW,,,,I loved reading all the Harry Potter books in Braille as I am deaf and legally blind! Doubt to many flight instruction mantels are/were ever formatted in Braille for obvious reasons though
Best regards and happy flights!

Good question Sky Boy, I reckon it must have been a "Deluxe" model.
I've put a link here:
http://www.anglia-models.co.uk/anglia.htm#top If you want to find out a bit more about the various models.
Many thanks, Ford.
