Onion roughly chopped.
Red Chilli finely chopped.
Chopped Garlic/Garlic Paste.

Sauté in a small non-stick saucepan.

Add Madras Curry Paste....>>>> http://www.pataks.co.uk/products/madras-paste.aspx
Coconut milk.

Gently heat, adding more liquid if required.

For the Rice:
Basmati Rice, wash in cold water, to remove starch.
Boil in a separate saucepan for 12 minutes.
Strain.

Place the rice on a hot plate. Create a hollow in the centre of the rice and add the Curry!

Enjoy with a nice glass of Australian red vino, and some buttered, crusty, French garlic bread!

Heaven on a plate before Bed-time!..... ...!

Paul.... ...!

P.S.....If you want to remove the top of your head, try this Vindaloo instead of Madras...>>> http://www.pataks.co.uk/products/vindaloo-paste.aspx .....Woo-Hoo!

With Autumn well on the way, and Winter just around the corner, its now getting time for some nice, big, hearty, Stews and Casseroles!

Chunks of beef, etc, with loads of assorted vegetables, herbs and spices, in a tasty stock, slowly cooked in a large crock-pot!

(Enough to last for a few days!).... :D ...!

A meal to warm the cockles of the heart on a cold, wet, miserable day!!

....time for some shopping!.... ...!

..... .... ...!

Holy-moley!

I'll tell your what....

That 8 Lbs of Beef Steak that those good 'ol boys are cooking up, would cost me most of my weekly/monthly pension, purchased at a Supermarket or Butcher, here in England!

A much more modest meal over here, with lots of good-for-you assorted vegetables!

All prepared in a hygienic Kitchen, with a proper sized worktop/chopping board, no stuff dropping on the floor, and no mangy, barking dogs in sight!

Its getting near time for me to publish a typical English Stew or Casserole....Fozzer Style!

Paul.....Yeee-Haaaa!..... ... ... ....!
