Good morning all...

Just a quick update as we have been quite busy the last month or so at the old homestead and bugsmasher field.
Hence my lack of time to post or do many simulated flights on this electronic gizmo.

Next Tuesday, September 23rd is the first day of Autumn/Fall.

Many leaves have already started to change in our little part of the colony.

Now to the purpose of my post and an informal way of informing our friends across the pond in Merry Old England...

This morning is the first morning the outside temperature dropped to Minus One Celsius (-1C).

Not going to do my Snow Dance quite yet...

Autumn, to me, is always a sad time of the year.... ....

It heralds the dreaded Winter, which is the bane of my existence for six to nine months of every year.... ....!

Like a Butterfly, I need warmth and sunshine all year!.... ....!

Oh I don't know Paul, you don't get as sweaty in your leathers, and the cooler air makes your engine more efficient as you go supersonic on your Kwikasfaki Or at least it does on mine

"Winter" to me, means Snow and Ice, preventing me from riding my Bike safely....

...as well as freezing my "Carburettors" off!... ....!

Riding to Sainsbury's each day for shopping is a definite no-no on Icy roads!

...then I get very hungry!...

Well, it's been a beautiful sunny 21*C for most of the day down here on the South Coast Paul. No sign of Autumn yet.

Yesterday, Thursday, was a wonderful, sunny day for me, on one of my usual Bike tours...>>>

But today, Friday, is/was a miserable wash-out, with rain all day...so no Bike riding!

I look at my USA Map, and I always get confused with the State of Colorado!.... ....>>>

It has such diverse scenery overall, and I suppose it depends upon whereabouts you live in the State, as to what kind of weather you regularly experience!

It rained here last night, and this morning. Right now the sun is out, and it's 80°... by 1700 hrs MST we'll have thundershowers for the rest of the evening.

The next four days we'll be dry and in the mid 80's.

The Aspens are changing, and the Mountains look as if they're on fire...

WOW...I wish it was like that here, in our Autumn!

The days are getting gradually colder, so I have to wrap up for my Bike rides now....Winter Woollies!... ...!

And the days (daylight!) are getting noticeably shorted.

All of which I find a little bit depressing!

"Summer" is my time of the year....warm/hot!!

10:29 pm Tonight is the end of summer around here. I expect the leaves will all fall with a sudden crash and it will start snowing by 10:30 pm.
