When things go wrong to make it right

So today we went to Duxford, due to an almighty goof I was sent down a road that was meant to lead to the park 'n ride but didn't. So using my zen navigation I managed to get myself back to Duxford village, parked at the local school for £8 and walked out to the field opposite.
Right under the path of all planes taking off.... result :-D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
