The "public" (note the use of quotes) then take the opportunity to over react and demonstrate their disapproval towards authority by rioting and looting. Let's address the root cause and not use firearms against unarmed miscreants. Surely the Police are above being provoked into lights and siren chases which lift their adrenal levels to the point of slaughter?
I must admit to addiction to the American TV "Reality Channel" with the program; "Cops" and "Cops Reloaded", and it sometimes surprises me to observe the terrific adrenalin rush experienced by the packs of Cops viscously attacking the person on the ground that they have just caught after a chase which has obviously annoyed them, from the sound of their raised, excited voices.
They appear to take great enjoyment in demonstrating their physical strength...under the protection of; "The Law"?
It is even possible to see them using their Taser Guns directly onto the subjects body whilst they are on the ground, to subdue them...which is illegal under US Law.
I would have imagined the the Police would be trained NOT to act in this way?
Failed bully-boys/girls at school....I sometimes ask myself?
Cops with shaven, polished heads, and tattoos!...
