Ride to Work Day

So its Ride to Work Day here in Blighty today, so needless to say Kara the Kawasaki and me decided to take to the roads this morning. Now due to her race exhaust she is a little bit loud (like a heavy metal concert in the middle of a nuclear war). So new game, iPhone screen breaking :-D
Sneak up alongside the idiot in the car driving whilst using their iPhone and endangering others whilst not in control of a couple of tonnes of metal (not to mention blatantly breaking the law). Clutch in. Nail throttle. Watch iPhone test gravity as the moron drops it between the drivers seat and door whilst emptying their bowels. They're not very good on impact resistance I understand :-D
Mad Mark McMad, making the world a safer place with a 750cc bike :-D

...and there was silly old me thinking that you had suddenly become Mr. Sensible, and Bicycled to work....

.....but nah...became a Knucklehead with Kara the Kawasaki!.... :o ...!

Good for arguing with Taxi-drivers!

Back to 4-wheelers tomorrow?

My only daily transport is always my 2-wheels...with an engine in the middle!... :D ...!

(Pedals are bad for you!).... ;) ...!

Paul...Meep-meep... ....!

Now that is a great use for a racing exhaust! Keep up the good work! I'll wager the local..umm...traffic wardens you call them? Love to see you do that, whether they can say so officially or not!

I rode an OLD Kawi 4 cyl police bike (KZ1000P) for a few years, till I hit the horse with it  :o :o  Thank goodness they are sturdy bikes! It hit the fairing and apparently (I remember none of this!) it rode it up and over and scraped me off the seat. Apparently (again) I went bouncing down the highway at 60-ish, banging my helmet off the centerline (had the neatest yellow stripe down the side!), till I came to a stop. If I had hit the bloody thing straight on (no fairing I mean) it probably would have killed me. As it was, I just lost an eye, and got a little road-rash where it finally wore through my leathers. Pretty fair, I'd say, the horse died on the scene! HA! I win!
Used to love riding that thing around town, and watching people slow down and move aside as I came up behind them, then realize that I wasn't really a cop!  Apparently a lot of female types have a sudden aversion to shirts when a bike like that with a guy with a beard and long hair goes by! Makes for great, although very distracting, scenery additions!
And in Yuma, ANY scnery additions are a very good thing! Not a lot of scenery to speak of in Yuma to begin with...unless you like sand and thorn bushes, that is :shifty: I do NOT!

Anyway, Keep it on the wheels guys, and watch out for the cars, they aim for bikers I think!
