Still laid up with this foot and leg...doc is going to see me next week and like the Old Girl will probably tell me I have not stayed off it...

Got my monthly e-mail news letter which I often pass on to you folks...

Now would like you all to scroll down in the News Letter to have a look at what is For Sale on Floats and Amphibious Floats...
You can also see what the SOLD Aircraft went for by clicking on the Listing...
I spoke with a Family Member in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada....on the Pacific Ocean Side of this country, with relatives on the Atlantic and Pacific Coasts of Canada we (that is the Old Girl and I) spend a lot of time on Skype which is Free...

We talked about one of my favourite subjects, float and amphibious aircraft like the DeHavilland of Canada DHC-2 Beaver and the DHC-3 Otter.
They are hoping that both aircraft will be put back into production shortly.
Having owned a few aircraft like the Republic Seabee, several Pipers and Cessna 180/185s on floats and amphibious floats, looking at this News Letter makes me wish I was sixty years younger and able to fly the bush again.
I might even consider trading in the Old Girl, the kids, the grandchildren and the great grandchildren to have my youth back and know what I know now (which is not much)...

I might even swear off drinking LAPHROAIG SCOTCH WHISKY...oh...okay you folks know I am lying, would never quit drinking my Scotch...

Scheduled Commercial Flying was alright, but many of my First Officers would ask if I was going home or going Flying Bush this weekend. Most of you know that being the fine outstanding family man I am, well off I went to do some Bush Flying if the chance arose.
Strictly for the family you know...I always liked a little extra cash at the end of the month for the family of course.
It had nothing to do with flying off water or sitting around the camp fire with a wobbly pop along with several other swabbies (float or seaplane driver) playing a few musical instrument and singing to the bear, moose, deer, wolves, fish, ducks...well you get the picture...

Well enough typed...take a look at some of those aircraft on floats, amphibious floats or a seaplane...
Spring is here, get yourselves over to a Seaplane/Float Plane Base and go for a ride...you will love it...Have a Great Day Folks...
