I had flown once out of Naples in FSX, and just had to fly around Mount Vesuvius.

TALK ABOUT HIDIOUS!!!! :o

When I bought FTX Global, I flew around Naples. Pompeii was still Yuck!

So I completely stopped flying in, out of, and around, Napoli (Naples).

When I saw this on SimViation - Pompeii Italy Scenery Package, I figured that it would be a install/fly around/delete type of scenery.

This is Pompeii. Fly real low & slow. And whatever you do - DON'T BLINK!

That's a small area created as photo scenery.

Before I start off on a bad foot, let me say that there's NO WAY that I could do as well.

But it is still a small area.

On the other had, this scenery is FANTASTIC for one BIG reason - Mount Vesuvius.

Before, Mount Vesuvius was SO BAD that I never wanted to go back to Naples.

If anyone wants to fly that area DOWNLOAD THIS SCENERY!

Some more shots should explain why.

The "old" Mount Vesuvius.

The "new" Mount Vesuvius.

The bad volcano.

The Good volcano.

So for me, this is good to have, even if you never fly close to Pompeii.

Thanks, Doug.

I like the Naples area, but the way that Vesuvius looked just bothered me too much.

I have two other Italian scenery's that are GREAT and maybe I'll start collecting more.

Just a side note - The only time that I turn off the clouds is when I'm testing new scenery. :D

Of course, I DO usually like a little more scenery than this. :D

Even a lot of the places that I wasn't interested in are starting to look interesting.

I hope I don't go senile. Just trying to keep up with the NEW scenery is hard enough.

Imagine trying to keep up with the SAME NEW scenery day after day? :D
