I'd waited a few months and got in contact with a few individuals I know who happen to have a lotta money, like in a lotta money,, some Vegas Casino Owners for example, and worked out a deal with them in CASH ONLY !!!

8 to 10 Million to those guys is Chump Change !

Once that deal is brokered and you've got the Lettuce in your hands - DO NOT get Stupid and Ignorant and race to the Bank to open up an Account, or invest in any Bonds, Securties, or Stocks, or buy a newer bigger house and/or expensive cars,,,,

all that leaves a Paper Trail, that will eventually come back to Bite you in the Ass !!!

KEEP the CASH in several locations in a very SAFE place,,,in case of a Fire you don't want all that money in 1 spot.

Don't be naïve and show it off and tell every family member you know, or buy flashy BS to impress others around you, cause soon, you'll be Impressing the IRS Thugs, that Corrupt Criminal Empire !!!

There is something immoral about revenuers that I can't quite put my finger on. As much as we are overtaxed in Ontario, at least they don't tax lottery winnings or casino winnings. When ever I watch a US game show or read about a big lottery winner I am not so impressed because I know the IRS is standing at stage left with their hands out. Even if you share your windfall with family.. They are taxed on the gift. After you were already taxed. Close to 77% of my income is tax in one form or another. ( Federal, Provincial, City, property, HST, and revenue tools like permits, fines, duties, liscences, etal..)

If it were actual Income Earned from the sale of a Business or a large piece of property several hundred acres I could maybe see it, but its NOT !!

This couple should of kept their mouth shut, and found an alternative way to sell those coins out from under the spot light.

I don't know this for a fact - but I believe they themselves probably called the news media, excited about what they found - and in the long run, Shot themselves in the foot by doing so to the tune of about 4.5 million Dollars they'll have to cough up and give away, to a corrupt government who'll ship it off overseas to be used fraudulently !!


This is like Skimming - isn't that what the Government took down the Casino's in Vegas for and the Mobsters involved, believe the movie CASINO' was about that, with Robert Deniro,, arrested all the Mobsters for skimming.

I see NO difference between what they did, and what the IRS is doing in this case !!!

I'm liking this thread. Remember, taxes were only temporary. To pay for the war effort. Way back then. Before taxes they would just take the brass hinges off your doors. Now taxes are necessary to pay the people that levy taxes.

I think the deal with finding treasure works like this;

Is it just a lump of gold? No? then it's in the antiquity category.

If it's in the antiquity category then you MAY get to keep a VERY small portion of the coins.

The rest is confiscated, and you get some cash.

The thugs government has already taken what it wants to take BEFORE you get your money.

And you better believe that you'll be audited just incase some coins fell behind the sofa.
