according to "The Dallas Morning News" [Oct. 22, 1995] and other sources, named for restaurant cook Ignacio Anaya, who invented the dish in the Mexican border town of Piedras Negras in 1943.

Glad that you liked it. I have it pegged on my Favorites Bar. Because, even though I know and use a word often, I sometimes want to know where, and how, that word came about.

So, it - was supposed to be an Anaya? Did they have a cold or an allergy: "It's an An, na - choo!"
