I didn't really appreciate how important Plan-G v2.0.5 was to me until I lost the use of it.
Read Reinstalling Plan-G v2 & v3 problems to find out how to get it reinstalled and working again.
Tim Arnot, the creator of Plan-G had to stop giving away Plan-G v2.0.5 because Google raised the price of using Google Maps in his software.
I have no complaints about Google making money, although I do wish that they would have made an exception for a program that is used by so few.
Unfortunatly, the newest versions of Plan-G have suffered from Googles action. It is, however, still one of the better solutions out there.

He's not going to get rich by giving away his software, so I hope that anyone using Plan-G will make a donation.
I just did via PayPal. If you donate too, please leave him a note of appreciation. There's a place to click on the PayPal confirmation screen. There may be a place on the credit card confirmation pages too.
