Dinner Quantity: Decisions...

With my daily preparation, cooking, and serving of my amazing dinners every midday on my very large dinner plate.... ....

..I am thinking to myself that I really should reduce the size of the amazing, good-for-me dinner that I eat each day, even though my stomach has got used to the delicious quantity, and even though I only weigh a measly 154 Lbs...

So I decide to use a much smaller dinner plate.... ...!

Problem solved?.... ....

NAH!.... :o ...!

The quantity remains exactly the same....its just that the altitude of the contents has vastly increased!

Paul....Dinner time approaching.... ...>>>

Roast Cumberland Sausages.
Boiled Potatoes.
Boiled Onion.
Carrots.
Parsnips.
Leeks.
Cabbage.
Spinach.
Mixed Peppers.

My Amazing Onion Gravy Sauce with various herbs and spices.

..and the obligatory glass (or two/three) of Californian Red.

...all served on a small dinner plate, (apart from the Cal Red)...with me peering excitedly over the top of the enormous pile... ....!

...but its always delicious....cant win 'em all!... ...!

It's not so much the quantity of food you put on your plate, it's what you put on your plate. Plenty of veggies and little meat, is good. I see no problem with the way you eat. Unless you do eat this plate 3 times a day. oh and those two glasses of wine? No problem me thinks. Unless you finish the whole bottle in 30 minutes, every day...

Hello Paul,
In refrence to your list of lip smacking food, I hear that you could eat those veggies till ya puke and
it does nothing but good things for ya. Except for the puking of course. :D

P.S. What's a "Leek"? I mean I have one in the bathroom faucet upstairs but.... :shifty:

Hello Dwayne!... :D ...!

I love my vegetables, and I prepare and cook up to 6-8 different vegetables, (together with various meats, pies, etc), for my dinner every day.

As well as tasting very nice, they are also very good for me..(apparently).... ...!

Leek...>>> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leek

A member of the Onion family. A nice mild taste in the stalks, and the green tops (together with other veg) also make a nice vegetable stock for my gravies... :D ...!

To the lady Shopper standing close by me, as I select a Leek from the vegetable display; " I had a leek before I came out, but I need another one now"
...sometimes it raises a laugh!...always hopeful... ;) ...!

Paul...lots more veg for dins today!..... ...!
