Actually the quote is from the English Playwright William Congreve's "The Mourning Bride" (1697) and has become famous, albeit frequently in misquotation, and often misattributed to William Shakespeare:
"Music has charms to soothe a savage breast," which is the first line of the play, spoken by Almeria in Act I, Scene 1. (The word "breast" is often misquoted as "beast", and "has" sometimes appears as "hath".)
No offense intended. I just wanted to clarify this because those "savage breasts" he talks about can be very dangerous and they are known to travel in PAIRS!
