Vacation time!


I'm heading off to the Mid Atlantic Air Museum tomorrow in Reading, PA.


Anyone wants a souvenir? They gots some old planes just sitting around doin nuthin.

Probly gona be cheap.

Ya, I do,, I want a few planes, Grab me a DC6 or a DC3 or that Lockheed twin engine sittin there,,, I'll pay you back,, I got like $10.00 to spend !! let me know and I'll come up and get them, and attempt to figure out how to Fly them back, tho, I've NEVER actually really flown a real plane ,,, BUT - ( like I did stay at a Holliday Inn Express last night TV Commercial) I have flown in my Simulator just last night tho !! I think I can figure it out,, now for the landings and getting from point A to Point B,, that might be a Problem !!! But, I have flown in my Sim-U-Lator !! :):)

I woke up late. I hope that there are a few left.

Meanwhile you practice flying into and out of the Reading PA Airport.

It's called Reading Regional Airport, AKA - Carl A. Spaatz Field (KRDG).


Me, I'm getting the Northrop P-61 Black Widow.

Any Merlin engined Spitfire parts gratefully accepted!

What the Mid Atlantic Air Museum needs are a lot of donations.

The place is run by some of the nicest people I've ever met. The price of admitions is equal to what you would spend at a McDonalds for 2. But nowhere enough to keep them open.

If you want to help, and can afford it, they have a "Take a flight" program.

There doing what they can, and I wish that I could have given a better donation.

So when you look at some of these pictures don't complain about how they're running the air museum. Because it's not for want of trying.



At any rate, I had a good time. There were some unique planes. And many that I've only seen in pictures.

Speaking of pictures, I don't recall all of their name/models But that'll give you something to do, name them.


For those who haven't been to an air museum there's something that you don't know - some of these planes are BIG!

Standing by the folded wing and looking up at the fuselage of the TBM - Avenger brings that home very quickly.

Hey, I think I have an AT-6 with that Navy livery... cool!

I'd get the MAAM-SIM DC-3 package, if I could only justify the cost! I've tweaked my Default Gooney with just about every freeware add on and have it flying real good for the DC-3 Airways World Rally, but I'd love to have a model with the correct cargo door!

Ahh, what the heaven... I'll send them a donation instead.

Yeah, I've been wanting to show the reason for my handle in my sig for a while and finally got round to it. I'm glad ya like it guys.
I sure wish I could say it was mine.

As soon as I get off my butt.. I'm going to paint up the 'IRIS' F-14 in these colors. It would be great if one of the Pros would paint
her. Hint.. Hint! But I'll give it my best. I don't think it will be to hard, Its pretty simple actually.

Then my next bit will be figuring out how to use that EditVoicepack program to call out "BLAZE". I can't figure that thing out to save
my life!
