It's a pretty cool device but with my old televisions I'd need a hammer to get a usb plugged into them. 8-)

Well I did away with Cable TV 7 years ago, so basically I have no TV , except what I watch on DVD's.

I watch more stuff on YOU TUBE or other video sites actually.

As I like to watch a lotta Documentaries on You Tube,, about all kinds of things and Flight Sim Video's too.

So I'll have to try this Techno- Device out, on my New HDTV that has the HDMI ports in it and all kinds of other jacks to.

Now, I can watch my own Cheesy Flight Sim Videos on TV

LOL,

Even if I could (with some choice words, luck and alot of solder) get it to work on my T.V. I do beleve it would explode from all the
data.

I just thought of something, If you do any work on your own T.V. (Not Recommended!) like I did, Be VERY carefull not to
touch the back of the picture tube. I had some pieces of an old 5" T.V. just sitting around from one of my salvage projects and went to
grab the picture tube to throw it out.

POOOOW! Damn that hurt! And that was just a little 5" tube. I never felt a shock like that in my life. Let me tell ya, it hurt so bad that
its still sitting were it fell.

  The flyback (high voltage) transformer should always be grounded (shorted) to ground prior to messing around with an old tube TV, regardless of size; that is, ground out that heavy cable that goes from the transformer to the picture tube.

Very dangerous things; Cathode Ray Tubes!

Some very good advice here...>>> http://www.crtsolutions.com/CRTSafety.pdf

I quite like reference to always have someone with you, to save you from death if you do something very silly!.... :o .... ...!

Lots and lots of volts.. ..and don't pick it up by the very thin neck... :naughty: ....!

This reminds me of a VERY old joke that I played on a roommate.

"How old", you ask?

Well, it involves a black and white TV set.

The roommate watched a lot of TV when he got off work. (Me? I was more interested in girls :D )

Anyway...

While he was at work I opened up his smallish TV case and, following proper precautions, rotated the yoke 180 degrees. Back then, the yoke wasn't glued in place like the color TV's and you could do that.

Yes. The Picture was now upside down!

I could hardly wait for him to come home! :D

When he turned it on and it warmed up the look on his face was priceless.
