SPAMMERS ???

Postby Jetranger » Fri Jul 19, 2013 11:19 am

Just seen some SPAM posted on here

I noticed it was about selling Shoes too

I belong to another Web Site non flight sim related,,, and the same thing is happening over there too, with the posting of Selling Shoes

The posting always seem to come from some far away foreign Country, like one none of us could pronounce anyway.

and its about something to do with shoes too,,,

most of the postings make no sense what soever, more like Ramblings about shoes, tennis shoes or something, the ramblings make no sense at all !!!!

Now I may not be the brightest , but if I didn't know any better, its NOT really about selling shoes, its some kind of Code a secret message someones trying to get out and you'd have to know how to Decipher it to understand it.

I Tried reading every other sentence, and every other word, also tried reading it backwards, as well every other word, still can't make any sense out of it ???

Its code for something, a way of communicating with someone else, Secretly about something or planning something, and this all just started quite heavily within the last 2 months I noticed not just here on this web site but others as well.

I'm Suspicious, very Suspicious !!

Their Spam their posting, isn't really about what their really posting I have a feeling !!

Paul,

You won't believe this, but in Hawai'i Spam sushi is considered a delicacy! It's really quite good; I took some to a pot luck dinner and it drew raves from the assembled!

We here know it's probably not about shoes, but members of other sites elsewhere might not. Ya want shoes, best to try them on first. The only time I've bought shoes in the past was from a local well known retail store with a store close by me, easy to return.

I've been controlling my email spam (Months ago, several of my email addresses started getting spam like crazy, but from only a few different sources, like that Canadian Pharmacy whatever and others I can't print here) by setting up a specific spam catcher folder and filtering by sender name into that folder. So it doesn't show in the Inbox, and I let it pile up for weeks in that folder. I then clean out that folder every so often. It's been a big help. You can't block by sender address because the sender recodes the address each time. If there were a way to block by sender name, then the spammers would just change the name sometimes. They do that sometimes anyway, but not too often.

This spam wave only started a bit back, before that it was all clear. It's really disgusting, but my fix there has really help control my annoyance level.

I've got two tins of Spam in my larder and I've just looked at the tins, and low-and-behold, they both contain a suggestion for making Spam-Burgers!

I still cant figure out what to use my Spam for, if I open the tin....maybe Battered Fritters?.....(Frattered Bitters).

Actually, of the two, I much prefer "Corned Beef" to "Spam".
I always chill the unopened Corned Beef can in the 'fridge before opening it, makes it easier to slice!

The Spammers on a Forum; always ignore them without replying, and wait for Management to fry them.
They taste lovely on hot, buttered toast....trust me... ;) ...!

Lets try this scenario - Google translation.

HUH ???

Lets say that I'm in some mystery country where few people have a computer, and even less have much computer knowlage.

But I DO!

So I use Google Translate, or another such program, to make up a fake ad. The more words, the better.

I then sell that ad to other people with a computer who don't speak English.

I tell them that this will make them millionaires hundred-dollar-aires.

My cousin then sells them a five year old email list (that he bought as new :D ) , and tells them to buy my, REALLY GREAT, shoe ad.

Now, personally, I wouldn't use Google Translate. :D For anything. But there are people who don't know better.

BTW - Anyone want to buy an ad in Mandarin for xylophones? You can make REALLY GOOD MONEY selling xylophones on the internet in Manchuria.
